In terms of the spiritual level it is more likely a rearrangement of reality. Our true essential nature is perfect at the source, and so we are becoming perfect again. Unconditional love is the source, during a reiki attunement or session, it translates into a rearrangement of atoms.

Is Creation essentially perfection? Yes. Right now, all things that have ever been, or will ever be exist at this moment. I think connecting to it again can been done through a reiki attunement.
